You can see that for the most part I'm sticking under my goal slightly. I tried a few other calorie calculators, but nothing works as well as MFP, I think mainly because of the huge use base and database of entries. This is where I decided that MyFitnessPal is the key to my success. So I can still eat a pizza, a burger, fries, etc as long as I know what is in it and how many calories it has. This idea that I can eat anything as long as I'm under a calorie limit. This time though I agreed with myself that keeping under calories based on calculated macro's is the way to go. Over the last 10 years or so, I've tried diets, fads and all sort of things and really I've never stuck to anything. I think this was a bit of a mental key in my mind.

Starting 95 days ago I decided that I should listen to the advice that a calorie deficit = weight loss. It finally all clicked that it's just not worth living like I am and should really start losing weight. I was getting tired just walking between the car and the shop, not able to take my dog for a walk, having a hard time getting up from a sofa. I've tried MyFitnessPal multiple times over the years, usually lasting only a week or so before I get fed up trying to figure out how to fill it out specifically for foods that don't have easy ways of calculating calories such as take away foods.ĩ5 days ago, I finally decided to change my way of life. I thought I would write up a few things about logging on MyFitnessPal and how I've managed the last 95 days logging.
